Based in Gdańsk (Poland), the Baltic Opera is one of the most significant cultural institutions in the Pomerania region. It relies on the work of many operators, including musicians, singers and dancers, as for the artistic staff. Its activities are housed in a modern building.

Baltic Opera’s mission is to spread culture and reach out to everyone interested in experiencing music and opera theatre. In striving to bring audiences closer to the theatre, Baltic Opera offers a diverse programme. Its repertoire ranges from classical operas to contemporary shows. Its season also consists of ballet performances.

It offers many activities and creative workshops dedicated to all ages, particularly children, like the regular Opera Children’s Choir classes.
In July 2023, Baltic Opera organises for the first time an opera festival. The festival has an international scope and foresees the presence of outstanding soloists, conductors and performers from Poland and around the world.
